So it’s Leo’s jam Van but wtf is that, I could tell you or we could figure it out together. I bought an empty AWD 2022 Transit and I’ve been doing upgrades since day 1, I realized this wasn’t going to be easy or cheap, It’s my second van (first was a Vanagon) and first ever build, I’m also starting my luck at a small business with it. I have so many ideas: outdoors concerts with a stage on top, camper Van, travel vlog, traveling w a band, off road roadside recovery, mobile mechanic, mobile studio, deliveries, rent it out or just run a landscaping business. As you can guess I’m all over the place but I’m also open to ideas, I’ve got the van and the time as I am retired ETCS from USCG. My final trip to Antarctica was 2025.

The Story

Leo’s Jam Van began as a business idea, but it quickly became something else. I started with a vision of turning a van into a platform for work, travel, and creativity. What I didn’t have was a single clear plan — just a lot of ideas and the motivation to try them.

Along the way, I experimented with different directions: music, travel, mobile work, and practical services. Some of those ideas showed promise, others didn’t last long. What stayed constant was the process of building, adjusting, and learning from what didn’t work.
